Attack Iraq? NO!

We feel that the United States should not attack Iraq. Some of us feel this way for one or more of the following reasons, and some of us feel this way just because there are still too many unanswered questions. But we are united in agreeing that the United States should not attack Iraq.

• The way to honor the victims of September 11th is through peace and healing. We must spare additional innocent families the suffering that thousands of American families already have experienced. And that doesn't take into account the diseases that have killed because Iraqis can't get medicine, economic collapse brought on by the Gulf War, and starvation caused by Iraqis not having access to food. • The marshlands of Iraq provide an environment for traditional agriculture, fishing, hunting, and other life-sustaining activities. Iraq is also home to unique and endangered species, some of which already have been lost. Another war in the region would surely endanger the precious marshlands and unique species further. • Peaceful Tomorrows -- Organization of family members of September 11th victims seeking effective nonviolent responses to terrorism.
