I've seen two great movies in the last week. The first was Big Fish, which is in theaters now. I went in just expecting Tim Burton weirdness, but it's such a beautiful movie.
The second was Melvin Goes to Dinner, which we rented and just finished watching tonight. It played at SXSW 2003 and we had planned on going to it, but something came up and we couldn't make it. So we rented it tonight and at the beginning, I was a little scared it was going to be one of those low-budget, nobody-can-act movies, but it wasn't. It was so real it was painful in some parts. I highly recommend it.
