I hope we will honor the victims of September 11th on this anniversary by reflecting on peace and healing, and that our governments spare additional innocent families the suffering that thousands of American families already have experienced. By continuing to perpetuate the cycle of violence and retaliation, we are doing a grave disservice to the victims of September 11th and their loved ones.
I finally got around to updating Stop Pre-Movie Ads! I added locations of ad-free theaters in California and Washington, and more contact information for chains that show ads so you can give them a piece of your mind!
Have you heard of BookCrossing? I just signed up and I'm lovin' it! The gist of it is that you release some of your books into the wild, such as at coffeehouses or on park benches. Then when someone finds the book, they read the lovely note you left them and go to the site and write a journal entry about the book so you know it ended up safely in someone's hands. When they're done reading the book, they hopefully release it into the wild again, and you can track the progress of your book around the world. A great way to share your favorite books, n'est-ce pas?
